DayZ Server Issue

Im on PC and have downloaded DayZ but when i try join a server with or without mods it does nothing. Battleye says its launching game and task manager says i have launched into the actual game but no pop up, no tabs just the DayZ client open doing nothing. Ive tried verifying files, deleting and redownloading certain files and redownloading the game itself no difference made. Its not the firewall or antivirus as ive checked with them. We got banned for not reporting an exploiter

This is a follow-up post to https://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/1sy7zb4/so_this_is_how_people_play_pvp_nowadys/ We noticed that we are now banned on the server mentioned in the linked post. This bug is preventing me from playing and it's awful. Here's what's happening I see this dialogue as soon as I try to switch to any other tab in the settings to change my sensitivity. I have to do that because my sensitivity reverts back to 0 on all settings every time i restart the game.
