PS Plus Overloads DayZ's Servers and Causes Connectivity Issues

Both the game’s Reddit page and official forums are filled with “BIOS Error” notifications, which have been preventing players from connecting to the release’s servers and playing the survival game online. As far as we can see the dev hasn’t commented on the issues just yet, although things do appear to have stabilised overnight. Sony doesn’t provide updates on the total number of PS Plus subscribers these days, but in 2022 there were close to 50 million members across all active tiers. We wouldn’t expect all of those users to immediately want to play DayZ, but the game will certainly have received a sudden spike in players following its addition to PS Plus Essential this week.
