Help for new-ish player?

So i started playing DayZ not long ago (i play on Xbox S), and i dont really get how im supposed to play it. most of the times i just die from hunger or thirst, or just get shot at by a random guy for no apparent reason. i can barely find anything too, i try going away from the shore, but i can't find anything besides some useless clothes and a gun that i won't even use. also, i play on an official server or smth if that matters. any help is appreciated :) submitted by /u/Pirate315 [link] [co...
