This way you can test out the mod, and try some admin tools. The Guide in Short (TLDR): Expansion is a mod that essentially turns DayZ into a fan-made DayZ 2. You can play Expansion offline just like you would the normal DayZ, but you need to make some changes to the game files. In addition to two files, you must also download some admin mods like Zomberry from the Steam Store. In the following guide, we will tell you all the steps in detail. How to Play DayZ Expansion Offline 1. Download DayZ Expansion To play the modification in singleplayer, you need to download at least one of the following two files via Dropbox. Simply click on Download in the top-right corner. Afterward, you should receive a Zip or Winrar file. DayZ Expansion ChernarusPlus DayZ Expansion ChernarusPlusGloom (Customized Map) 2. Install DayZ Expansion Offline When you open this directory, you should see two folders. Now add these to your DayZ Missions folder. You should find it in your Steam directory.
