Not sure if I'm just OOTL but I always thought crossplay between PC and console players on the same server wasn't possible. I've been playing on official on Xbox and switching over to the PC Xbox DayZ version and it works 100%. It only works with the keyboard and mouse Xbox console servers, the controller only servers aren't accessible.
