experience of new dayz player
I decided to give DayZ another chance after having it in my library for years. I had tried playing it before a few times, but I’d always end up dying to zombies or getting sick, so I thought the game was insanely difficult. But my god, I’ve never played a game that got my adrenaline pumping and my heart racing like this one. When you spend hours looting just to finally get some decent gear, then walk into a house and suddenly hear footsteps… or when you spot another player and don’t know whether to shoot or stay patient and try to get closer to them — those moments are easily the most nervous I’ve ever felt playing a videogame. What makes it even more intense is how rare those moments are, so player encounters never start to feel normal or repetitive. submitted by /u/f0rget1 [link] [comments]
