I started playing Dayz about a week ago. The first day was honestly frustrating. Ive played a few survival games but not as brutal as this. The PVP wasn't the problem. The problem for me is map knowledge and understanding all the ways to find food and water. I felt like I was running in circles but last night I met a friendly person at the beginning of my journey. He didn't have a mic but he taught me a few things and finally got me to the military base. The whole experience was just more exciting running as a duo. Im older in my late 30s I live in the US on the east coast. Im a gamer so if im not working Im on. I usually play at night around 10pm and on my days off Thursday & Fridays.
